4. REPORT

This is a worthwhile epidemiological/management study of an outbreak of leptospirosis var Bratislava versus other variants in Horses considering the numbers involved. the follow up study is interesting but the authors neeed to justify the serological tests after the vaccination (re refrences), as they have assumed that vaccination would not interfere with the tests.  I would have like to see more males in the sampling. The report is not written very well and I have made certain corrections especially to the abstract and introduction. Materials and methods: the authors should describe in more detail the method used to identify the serovars especially the titre level.  Results: Properly analysed and presented. the results justify the conclusions. Publish with minor changes. Format to OJVR and return for further review. thank you FP.
