4. REPORT : Authors speculate that Acetylcysteine could reduce intraocular pressure/alleviate dexamethose effect using dogs. The results showed that it does not. This work therefore prevents further superfluous research. The Abstract is not well written and does not describe the work concisely, and has information that should not be there such as detailed methodology etc. In methods only right eyes are treated. Would there not be some crossover effect to the left eye? I would have preferred they had used independent dog groups re treated both eyes v not treated at all/or saline groups. The results are comprehensive Tab 1-3 and required as the Figures have no statistics. I have re-written the Abstract to more closely reflect the work and findings. Return to authors for re-evaluation.
