4. REPORT This is a report describing the effects of haemoproteus sp on
blood values in Owls suggesting that the immuno-compromised owls are
more likely to be infected. The novelty lies in that this work
has not been defined in Captive Owls. Methods. Blood collection and
analysis were done appropiately as per previous published work
and a cohort of 12 was used (12). The hematozoa was
identified microscopically as per previous work in Fig 1. (Ziman
ect). Although the data is presented in Table 1, There are no
statistical evaluations presented here (although author states that
t-test was used). Author MUST incorporate significance to
statements with "higher", or "lower" see paragraph below Table 1. If
unable to show statistiucal significance author should just mention %
change (although this is not advisable for this journal). Accept
full-text only if author incorporates significance test results in
Table 1 or in text.
