In silico T cell antigens from proteome of H1N2 swine influenza A virus

In silico peptides for development of vaccines against swine influenza H1N2 are described. Propred and Propred I were used to predict T cell epitopes from hemagglutinin, neuraminidase, polymerase, polymerasebasic 1, polymerase 2, matrix protein 1, matrix protein 2, nonstructural protein 1, nonstructural protein 2, and nucleocapsid protein of influenza virus (A/Sw/It/116114/2010) (H1N2). A 4% threshold was used to select high binding affinity peptides. A total of 21 epitopes were predicted for HLA class I and 20 epitopes for HLA class II molecules. These T cell epitopes were top scoring peptides and bound with the maximum number of HLA alleles.
