Lou's World is part of Hunter Community Television [H.C.TV.] known as NOVACAST.
Starting in Newcastle 2005 Lou's World brings to the viewer once a month A fun and interesting look at the people of Newcastle and their lifestyles.
To be Shown on Satellite Television based in Sydney on U.B.I.Optus 3B [Channel 44].
The format is A 30-Minute show covering untold stories and underground events in Newcastle.
Stories compile of Individuals to Community groups in the aim of giving Newcastle people a much wider exposure ''What's Happening in Newcastle''.
Shown across Australia and New Zealand as an Alternative to Commercial Television
Lou's World will show the best ''what's out there'' in our community Newcastle.

Founded by Louis Camillo and Mark Mason in 2004, Lou's World captures a unique approach to community awareness working closely with people to bring their story to the fore.

With Intro's and voiceovers from Lauren Glennie bringing freshness and warmth to Lou's World as well as good research and a lucky streak.

There have been 2 stories Aired with Lauren on Satellite Television thus far;

The First Aired on May 15, 2005 AT 2PM called ''LETS''.
A program about an Alternative Economy [ALA Barter System] using a monies called ''MOLLYS'' to purchase goods i.e. books to household items and trading personal and professional skills and services in Exchange for Mollys.
Filmed in Maitland at the Historic Walka Water Works as a location for LETS Trade Days.

The Second on June 19, 2PM showed FireTwirling.
A local identity called Andrew Matsen performs and teaches an old art called Fire Twirling.
Showcasing himself and his group of talented Individuals made-up of youthful boys and girls.
Giving public performances at The Newcastle Show, Gregson Park, [where they practice on Tuesday nights] and finally A performance at this year's Culture Stomp Festival held recently in Newcastle.

The Third on July 17, 2PM will be on Culture Stomp 2005.
Now in its ninth year Culture Stomp brings Cultural Diversity together in one community atmosphere to enjoy and participate in an artistic and fun way in Civic Park Newcastle.
This year's theme ''Faith''.
A timeline was set up showing early Aboriginal Spirituality through to Buddhism than Christianity to modern day Scientology faiths, INPUT BY Deacon Tom Jones.
The Event showcase local artist and performers as well as workshops on Laughter Club.
Culture Stomp plays an important part in our community to bring all Australians no matter what background, Color, Race or Religion together in one unity celebrating in Cultural Diversity in Newcastle.

Shootout 2005 on July 8 [Lou's Birthday] hosted by me now in it's Seventh Year and the challenge to make a film in 24 hours and no longer than seven minutes using ITEMS on a given list with
Two Compulsories this year i.e. A Shooting Star and A Sunset.
Held in Wheeler Place [Civic] where a giant SCREEN was erected this year showcasing pervious year's winners.
Interviews with Shooting Stars including an American Actor in upcoming Superman movie.
Thanks to Craig Foot, Christi Street and Teresa Conicella for ''making it happen''.
Lots of fun including VIP to The Awards Night held at Club Panthers Sunday July 10.
And the Winner? A CLAY ANIMATION! Called ''The Sperm Society''.

King Edward Park is the setting of this wonderful event situated N/E of Newcastle Beach.
With its lush grounds, tall pine trees and sea views including A Rotunda, King Edward Park is a popular tourist attraction all year hosting weddings and Carols by Candlelight.
Cars of yesteryear from the 1960's & 70's also latest models compete around a tight twisting road cut from a hillside.

Mattara HillClimb October 22 Hosted by MG Car Club [48 Year].
Man and his Machine against the Hill of K.E.P. in the fastest time and King of the HillClimb for 2005.

Dragon Boats October 16
Throsby Creek Carrington in the heart of the city is the backdrop for this unique event.
A picture perfect of newly development housing along the southern side of the creek with Commercial Businesses including Fisherman's Co-op, cafes and other tourist attractions.
3 specially painted Aluminum Dragon Boats made in Canada fitting 10 men and 10 women plus SWEEP.
Corporate companies and Novacastrians of all walks of life including NBN Television Personality and
News Presenter Ray Dineen come together on a wet and windy afternoon once a year to push and pull the Dragon Boats against the wind, rain and falling tide paddling some 250 meters to finish first.
Women of Cancer hold a minute silence with flower ceremony for Bali tragedy.
