Isabelle Huppert graduated from the Paris Conservatoire d'Art Dramatique and made her first film, 'Faustine et le bel été,' when she was just 16. Her career then accelerated rapidly and she soon found work with famous directors, and has won a number of awards.

Isabelle Huppert was born on 16 March 1955 in Paris. She has a father who is a chairman of a company of safes, an English mother who teaches, and has three sisters and a brother.
