Zinedine Yazid Zidane is a famous, French soccer player.

He was born on the 23rd of June in 1972, in Marseille, France. He started his career at the early age of 14. At the age of 16 he was playing with professional soccer players, after being noticed by the recruiter Jean Varraud. Soccer, for Zinedine became more then an

aspiration, it became a passion. He spent more then a year with the Cannes team, where he struck his first professional goal.

After another season with Cannes, he switched to the Bordeaux team. With Zinedine in their team Bordeaux qualified every year for the finals. After four years he moved to Torino in Italy and was sought after by Juventus.
With the Italian team he won many, many awards and cups. A couple of them include the individual Golden Ball in 1998.

The Spanish team acquired him for roughly $66 million U.S dollars. Zinedine is married to Veronique and they have two sons. He is involved in lots of product marketing. This includes being the first male model for Christian Dior.
