ALL FLESH IS GLASS was first performed in 1994 at the Universal Theatre Melbourne and produced by Mystic Productions. It was directed by Lynne Ellis and acted by David Tredinnick, Tammy McCarthy, Rebecca Dontschuk, Sam Sejavka and Patrick Moffat The play explores the subject of exploitative cults, using as a vehicle a synthetic religion devised for the purposes of the play. This shadowy group - Inframind -combines the most remarkable beliefs and operating procedures of cults like Scientology and Aum Shinrikyo into a terrifying organisation with a terrifying ability to recruit and indoctrinate - despite the patent absurdity of its faith and goals. All Flesh is Glass has a cast of four and runs for two and one half hours. |
