Overview

With expanding technologies, there has been an increase in the number of people who burn their own music files to CD media. A common annoyance is the way that DVD players, CD players and MP3 players play music burnt onto CD's.

Quite often the default of the player is to sort and play the contents of the CD in alphabetical order. This often is not the order that the music appeared in the playlist when it was burnt. Music Playlist Utility is designed to remedy that problem.

Features

Music Playlist Utility allows a user to select an existing playlist as input and physically renames the music files with a numerical prefix. The software then creates a new playlist of the new filenames.

The user can then create their CD using the new playlist in any 3rd party CD burn application (such as Nero or MusicMatch) and the music files will always be played in the order that the user created their playlist.

Once the CD has been burnt the user can then use Music Playlist Utility to select the new playlist as input and remove the numeric prefixes from the physical music files.

A processing log is displayed to the user for all action taken by Music Playlist Utility.
