My current research is focusing on an area of database security, and genetic databases in particular. In the past statictical database security has generally dealt with numerical attributes, that is, ones which can be ordered. I plan to try to develop a new technique that handles categorical attributes.

My PhD supervisor is Dr Ljiljana Brankovic, who did her thesis on Statistical Database Security. I am currently at the start of my fifth year or research into this area.
