Crystal! If I may be so bold... Clear, delicately faceted crystal; a perfect medium through which the Ab-Virginšs secret Colour may be seen... perfectly. Crystal with a native resonance that will aid the mechanics of the device. Holy Sister, if this is to be an exercise in fashion and form as well as function - then flawless aethereal crystal is the perfect choice.

Born and trained in England as a performer at the infamous Dartington College of the Arts, Lynne was immersed in artistic diversity at the height of the 70's theatrical exposion. At the end of her training, she lived in a cave in Moroicco before joining Kiss, an experimental group which trained for five hours a day and toured the world with shows such as the five hour Orestia, [in which she performed naked and spoke Ancient Greek and Medieval Latin.] This show brought her to Australia, where her career as a director took its course - La Mama became a second home, and new Australian plays anb their writers became her inspiration. She is well known for her irreverent Childrens' shows at RMIT where she is Director-in-Residence and has had such classics as The Day my Bum Went Psycho under her Belt. Her piece de resistence is stripping to Ravel's Bolero while smashi9ng food over her body and running through the audience with a chunk of raw liver in her mouth. She received the Ewa Czajor award in 1992.

Some of her recent directorial work includes: Hymie, Believe Me, Oscar Wilde [Barry Dickens]; Mammothrept, All Flesh is Glass [Sam Sejavka]

Praxi is a low-ranking technician priestess with a love of anything bedizened by jewels. A servile, simpering character, when her life's project is rudely cast aside by her superiors, she at last reveals a surprising strength of character.
