Europe Photos
These are just a small sample of the photos taken on my trip to Europe in Sept/Oct of 2004.
I first went to Belgrade, Serbia to work with my supervisor while she was on sabatical. I then had a small side trip to
Sicily, Italy for a conference. I ended my trip with some holiday time around other parts of Europe. Namely, UK, Spain, France, Vienna and
Chech Republic.

I really appreciate the 4 weeks I got to spend in this city of contrasts. From the inspiring Kalemegdan fort and the old city, to the spralling
minimilist appartment blocks of the new. Belgrade, or Beograd, is a city full of history and trying to come to find it's way forward in the new millenium.

I spent several days at a conference in Sicily, which was a great experience. also involved a lot of swimming!
