Here are the Brave adventurers of the the Moonsea Marauder's.

They have beaten the Eye of the serpent and are now endeavouring to determine what is behind the Lizardmen uprising. Having beaten back a score of Lizard men on the river banks. it may be necessary to investigate the swampland  to the south to find the real cause of it all.

I was visited by the "old man" again last night. Is this truly Bahamut or am I just hoping beyond hope. He told me that my enemy was close at hand. I wish this to be true with all my heart.

Into the town of Waycombe we travelled only to be greeted by a stream of refugees. The town had been attacked by brigands, Lizardmen and a black dragon.  Finally I have found a clue to where the beasty lives. It must be destroyed for that is Bahamut's will, now I know that the old man was truely Bahamut himself!

We helped a sergeant of the Counts guards today. He told us of his company being ambushed by brigands and how they were taken to a place where the men were slowly taken away and never returned. I charged him to safely escort the refugees to safety in the Counts court.

We rested the night in an Inn that the Innkeep was leaving. He told us to seek out the old hermit to the south and that all of the attacks came from the swamp to the south.

We found the hermit, after being delayed for a moment by some rude brigands. The hermit seems quite mad, (and not a little smelly) but has agreed to take us to Sethcartha's temple in the swamp.

Tragedy has struck. Shikkira has been killed by some strange swamp beast. We managed to slay the monstrousity but not until after Shikkira had been taken from us. We must hurry and finish this quest so that we can bring Shikkira back to us.
